One Health Announces Opening of Milligan Clinic with Support from M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust
6 de febrero de 2026
Miles City, Mont. — One Health announced today the opening of the Milligan Building, a newly rehabilitated Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) in downtown Miles City. The transformation of this historic building was supported by a $400,000 grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, advancing access to integrated healthcare services in rural Montana.
Located in the heart of downtown, the historic Milligan Building encompasses about 26,700 square feet across three floors and features 60 feet of frontage on Main Street. The building is a primary contributing structure in the Miles City Main Street Historic District and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Through a multi-phase rehabilitation project, One Health transformed the Milligan Building into a modern clinical facility offering integrated primary and preventive healthcare services, including medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. The facility also incorporates a telemedicine hub, a multidisciplinary clinical training program, and the co-location of Custer County Public Health, strengthening coordination of care for the region.
“The Murdock Trust is committed to supporting organizations that improve the health and well-being of underserved communities,” said Kim Newman, Senior Program Officer for Health & Environmental Stewardship at the Murdock Trust. “One Health’s innovative approach to integrated care aligns with our vision of flourishing communities with accessible healthcare for all, and we look forward to seeing the impact of this clinic.”
“We are incredibly thankful for the generosity of the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust,” said CEO Dr. David Mark of One Health. “Their support was instrumental in bringing this vision to life for Miles City.”
The Milligan Building officially opened to patients on February 3.
