Parents as Teachers

Our Parents as Teachers program offers free, one-on-one support for any family in Park County with a 0-to-5-year-old. Our parent support specialists meet with you and your child in your home twice a month until your child enters kindergarten. (You can opt out any time.) They will screen your child’s development regularly (physical, language, cognitive, emotional). They give you a brand-new kids book with every visit. They bring a developmental game to play on the floor with your child. They talk about what’s hard, and they listen! They connect you to resources.
